I accidentally deleted mobiletrack. How can I get it back?
I have already a device so this doesn't work for me: If you already have a Fitbit account, log into the app and tap or click the Account icon (). Choose the option for setting up a new device and follow the MobileTrack instructions.
I have a Alta HR.

Has anyone got mobiletrack working on a Pixel 5? I had it on my Pixel 1 but it doesn't appear in the device list on my new phone.
I've tried the workarounds suggested by others in this thread but not got anywhere.
It's not listed as an unsupported device on this page Fitbit-compatible devices

I'm having the same issue. I deleted Mobile Track which was working perfectly on my phone yesterday. Now I have been completely unable to reconnect it.
Before Rich Laue just tells me that it will work if the phone is supported, according to the FitBit site the phone is supported, it was connected on this phone until yesterday and was working fine, but is now no longer showing up.
Before Rich Laue tells me that in that case it will be at the bottom of the devices list. I have been to the bottom of the devices list, and it is NOT there.
I have signed out, cleared cache, rebooted phone, reinstalled phone. Nothing works, and all this thread has is one person continually repeating the same things to people and telling them they are wrong, when it is clearly not working for them!

After reading through this thread, and seeing all the "your phone is not compatible" responses, I found a way to get MobileTrack working on my Galaxy S10. I noticed that if you setup a new account, you have the option of MT, but not if you have already setup a physical device. So, I started by deleting the physical devices from my account. I then went into the Fitbit app details and deleted the file storage. Once I did that, I restarted the Fitbit app, logged in, and when I tried to add a device it gave me the option of MT. It looks like if you add a physical device first, then try to add MT, you will not have the option to. This is a Fitbit issue, not a device and DEFINITELY not a phone issue.
To delete the file storage, press and hold the Fitbit app, select app info, storage, and finally clear data.
Hope this helps everyone get MT back!

Thank you so much, I have been looking for a way to do this for a few months now. This worked perfectly. It seems it is a glitch in the fitbit system.

Did you both delete your fitbit device off your app, close the app, go to fitbit app settings and delete both the cache and the data from the storage section?
That worked for me and I have Samsung 10+ once I logged in back into the app, I went to device list before adding my versa 2 back on and mobiletrack was right there 😊

Yes, that's the process I followed but mobiletrack doesn't appear.

Just tried it on my partners phone as he has the same as me and it didn't work but then I tried it again but made sure I force stopped the app after deleting data and cache because I wasn't sure if I did that on my phone, when I logged back in mobile track was there in his devices. Maybe try force stopping the app too before going back into it 🤔

Oh dear, no doubt I will probably experience the same issue then. I'm normally never without my tracker but wanted mobile track available for the odd days when I forget it.
Clearly there is issues with the whole mobile track system and maybe we need to make fitbit aware that we would like this fixing now or clarification on how to get the most from this particular feature.

Try restarting the phone, without opening the app. The phone should record steps.
If the app is closed, by swiping off the screen, you haven't stopped the Fitbit app. Then opening the app will not do a complete open. To properly close the Fitbit app, should only be done when the app is not responding correctly, it must be done through the phone settings. This also will stop mobile track.
There really is no reason to stop the Fitbit app, or any app by swiping off the screen. It simply messes up the memory management.

This worked for me on the Galaxy S20 AFTER moving storage to my SD card. I realized that I had data and cache on my card and had moved it from my old Samsung S8 phone. Once I cleared data and cache again on my SD card I got MobileTrack as an option. However, it's still not tracking steps. At least I know when the software is updated to support my phone (taking way too long) I have MobileTrack installed. Thanks so much.
