How to add Mobiletrack

I accidentally deleted mobiletrack. How can I get it back?

I have already a device so this doesn't work for me: If you already have a Fitbit account, log into the app and tap or click the Account icon (). Choose the option for setting up a new device and follow the MobileTrack instructions.

I have a Alta HR.

I just got MobileTrack to work on my Pixel 5 today. I tried ggonzalez105's steps without success, but this variation did work:

1. Open the FitBit app

2. In my account, remove my paired Charge 2

3. Log out of the app

4. Close the app

5. Open App Info

6. Clear cache

7. Clear storage

8. Uninstall the FitBit app

9. Reboot the phone

10. Install the FitBit app

11. Open the FitBit app

12. Go to my account and press "Set up a Device"

MobileTrack appeared at the bottom and was able to be selected. Hope it works for you.

Here's the weird thing for me. I downloaded Samsung Health to check out the
features and the steps tracker works perfectly fine. I don't buy the "your
phone is not compatible" shenanigans from Fitbit, unless, for whatever
reason, Samsung Health and Fitbit use different methods to track steps...

The only reason I still bother with Fitbit is because I have a Fitbit Aria
scale.

It's not that simple. I've had multiple phones over the years that are supported and the the mobile track option comes and goes all the time. I think it has something to do with screen resolution. I usually play with the resolution/screen zoom and wipe cache and even uninstall and reinstall and eventually some combination of these gets it back.

In my case I usually have it working for many days then I occasionally have to remove the app for various reasons then takes a while to get it back.

Hi Rich, when I select Mobile Track, it tells me to accept the terms and conditions, but there are none and the box to accept is greyed out.

Does the phone have the required hardware? Fitbit relies on the phone having 2 pieces of hardware. The step detector chip and the step counter chip.

Is the app up to date?

I just unpaired because I think it was throwing erroneous steps onto my device, but it seems INCREDIBLY kludgey to have to set up my whole device again if I want it back. Ugh.
