How to clear notifications

So for the past several months any messages I've send or recieved have not shown up on anyone's notifications, including on my own on the app.  Tonight suddenly they have all shown up.  I've read and/or responded but they are still all showing as new notifications.   How can these be cleared off?

Hi @SandiFen thanks for bringing this to my attention, welcome to the Community Forums.

 

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post, certainly this notifications concern is not a common situation nor the way this specific feature was designed. To clear off the notifications from your Alta HR, please try our restart process following the next steps:

 

  1. Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your tracker will begin charging.

  3. Press the button on your charging cable 3 times within a few seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  4. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Hi.   Tried that this morning.  The messages are all stiff there and appear new still.

I am having this problem as well. All my messages were looked at so there were no notifications or messages showing. All of a sudden it showed 3 but there are no new ones and all have been viewed but inside the app it has 3 over the notifications. I wish there was a way to clear them permanently.

 

Also I blocked 5 males who were friend requesting me and they are still showing. I removed that app and reinstalled it. Doesn't help either issue.
