I have pages and pages of notifications showing on the FitBit app on my Samsung Galaxy 8.  They go back to early 2018.  How can I delete these?

I recently purchased an android S10+

On the fitbit app I too had the problem of in-app notifications (i.e. "overachiever...") going back to 2017. I have trolled these forums for months trying to get help with this on my then S7. No luck until I happened by accident on the solution

Once in the notifications section of app, there were 3 dots to the right of each notification. Each of the notifications were in baby blue for me. I noticed that when I clicked on a notification (Not long press - which only brought up the "delete" button to delete the notification individually) the notification went white. When I continued to press each notification just like that until all were turned from blue to white (unread to read - I guess?) And then went to top of screen and pressed my thumb on the screen and pulled down to do a "refresh" of the screen... voila they all disappeared.... yay... I love the message now that displays I "have no new notifications to display" ... let's keep it that way woo hoo

Hope this helps everyone else in the same boat

Still doesn't work for me. I don't even get a delete button to get rid of them one at a time. Mine go back to 2017.

As it took fitbit an inordinate amount of time to actually admit that you couldn't delete them, after insisting that they deleted automatically after 30 days.  I think my chances of ever deleting them are probably zero.
