Hello @Brenda1966, welcome aboard to our Community. In order to enable call and text notifications, make sure the Fitbit app is compatible with your mobile device by checking http://www.fitbit.com/devices..
If your mobile device is compatible with the app proceed to enable these options on your tracker and the mobile app:
- For Charge 2, from the clock screen, press and hold the button to make sure Notifications is set to On.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled by going to Settings > Bluetooth.
- If your mobile device has OS 5.0 or later, you may need to configure the default text messaging and calendar apps by tapping Settings > More > Default SMS app or Settings > More > Default calendar app.
- Go to Settings > Do Not Disturb and make sure the setting is off. The location of this setting varies across mobile devices and operating systems but is usually under Sound and Notification.
- Open the Fitbit app and tap Account > your tracker's name > Notifications.
- Check the box next to Fitbit Notification Service and then tap OK.
Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.
