Hello everyone!
@Kaibab1959 The nwe app version is actually the 4.04. It was released this week.
@lillirosa Sorry for the inconveniences caused. Make sure you enable the low battery notifications: How do I choose which alerts Fitbit sends me?. That way you can also get a notification on your smartphone when the Fitbit device's battery is low.
@itch2623 That is correct. The update is released gradually and will soon be available for all users. I appreciate your patience and explanation.
@Linz16 Thank you very much for your feedback. I totally understand. The good thing is that the battery indicator in percentage is coming back. It is just a matter of time until you get the new app version. I really appreciate your patience!

I have low battery notifications set, but, unfortunately, since the updated app was released it has stopped sending me any notifications. I have everything set up properly, permissions are all enabled, etc., I even reinstalled the app, but it simply won't send me any notifications at all.

@lillirosa Thanks for the reply. You also mean no text notifications on your device?
Regarding the low battery notifications, this one appears on your smartphone as a push notification. Make sure the Fitbit app notifiacations on your smartphone are allowed. You can also set up for you to receive an email. Check your spam folder and if the notifications landed there, make sure to unmark it as spam, so that it lands on your primary inbox. Given that you are not receiving any low battery notification, please go to the article above and follow the instructions to deactivate them and set them up again.
If you are not receiving text or call notifications, make sure to check this article out: Why are notifications delayed or missing?.

No, I mean push notifications. I stopped receiving them when the app updated to the current version - they are turned on in the app itself and enabled on my phone, and worked fine before the update. I did just turn on the email notification for low battery so hopefully that will work.

After having the same problem the last few months, I’m happy to see that the battery percentage is showing again in the Fitbit app for my charge three in the upper left-hand corner of the main page. It may have just started today,

I also have no battery percentage showing on my app and have not gotten an update that corrects this as others stated on 11/13/23. HOW LONG will it take Fitbit to offer it to android users??????

@TobiasF I can't believe I'm still hanging around here 2 months on....! Have you noticed in the Play store (rating now down to 3.5), they are replying to people who have complained about no battery status, telling them all it's now available? It clearly is not! I dont see it and there is no Android update available. This isn't just misleading people, it's blatant lies. I actually emailed them separately about this recently and was told by 'Paula H and the Fitbit team' that it IS available on the 'today' tile. It is not! Are they assuming everyone uses iPhone? So fed up with it now. 😴

You would think that with Fitbit and android both being Google that android updates would be a priority 🤦:female_sign: Or maybe they think Apple users are more likely to ditch their Fitbit?
It's been weeks! Has anyone with an android phone had the update rolled out to them yet?

Has anyone on Android gotten the update? My wife has an iPhone and her app updated and now the battery status is back on the home page.

I have an Android phone and still have not gotten the update. My phone is a Google Pixel and you would think since Fitbit is now with Google that an update would have been offered by now. iPhones got the update at least 2 weeks ago.

@RodrigoMFitbit I note you have voted for my last post but have not replied, why no response to a simple question? when will Android users get the battery percentage? Please please just give us an answer!

Unfortunately it is becoming apparent that, despite what they have said, there isn't an android update available to anybody yet. According to Google Play the last update is from a month ago (to fix bugs), nothing since.

Hello everyone.
Thanks for reaching out about the battery indicator on the Fitbit app. Note that there is no priority for any type of user. As you can also read here, Android users have gotten the update already. I got the update last week. However, last time I did not get immediately. Note that the update is introduced gradually. Users receive the update regardless of their device or location. There is no specific date. Many have received it already, I can assure you that. Soon everyone will have the latest update, I really appreciate your patience.

Your statement that Android users "have gotten the update already" is FALSE as I have an Android Google Pixel phone and HAVE NOT gotten the update.
