How to start bike exercise from phone?

Can anyone tell me how to start a bike exercise from the Android app?

When I go into Exercise->Track and click on the activity type, I can only see Run, Walk and Hike listed.  Is there any way to get Ride in there?

Thanks.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @reefoid. It's great to have you here. There is actually no option to track bike exercise from the Fitbit app (MobileRun). You can manually log your activity though.

You are welcome to join a discussion about adding this feature to the Dashboard. If you would like to share different ideas to be implemented you can always create a new thread in the Feature Request board.

Hope to see you around more often. Smiley Very Happy

Since the Android app Track Your Exercise, Map feature uses the GPS for tracking, it doesn't map bike rides.  But, instead of using the Android app, you can start the exercise mode of the tracker by pressing the button until it vibrates, and end the exercise mode after the bike ride ends. This will create an activity called Workout, which you can edit the name of later in the Dashboard.  If you type Bike in that edit field, it will allow you to select either Bike or Mountain Bike.
