Is there a way to make the Bluetooth settings popup stop happening every time I use the app? I don’t want to change my settings and the constant reminder is beyond annoying. Ideas?
thank you!

Since Google requires Location Services to be enabled in order to sync via Bluetooth, there is no way to eliminate that popup other than enabling Location Services for Fitbit.

I have been using Fitbit without location services activated for years. If I cant get rid of this pop up I will not be using the device further. My blue tooth works fine without activating the location services. This is a major inconvenience. I'm not interested in being tracked by google.
I have an iPhone so, how can I get it to stop? Bluetooth syncing works so obviously location service is not required for syncing via Bluetooth.
If that is the case, why is there a setting for using the built-in GPS mode in the device's settings? I think that will turn off the super annoying popup. I just switch to that and it seems to have fixed the issue.

My GPS has been on and I still get the pop ups

Yes, I am still seeing the popup but I think it happens less. Fitbit used to be a good product but not so much anymore. They shouldn't need access to my phone's location if they are properly coding and using their own GPS.
I agree with you. It used to be a good product before Google purchased them. I cant get this pop up to stop and I am not interested in allowing Google to follow me everywhere I go. Its definitely not necessary for syncing with blue tooth and never has been before recently when they pushed out the last software update. The pop up is annoying and unnecessary. Hopefully, someone at Fitbit or a user will figure this out.
I spoke to Fitbit this morning and they it’s Apple. I told the I have had the latest update for weeks and the pop up just stated a couple days ago, so she is wrong. Did anyone find another fitness tracker that works better??? I’m going to stop using Fitbit due to the pop up
Let me know if you find anything. I have been looking a the Apple or Garmin alternatives.
Yea it’s really a shame that there is no way to opt out of this pop up that I can find. It will force me to stop using Fitbit and buy a competitors tracker
I have the same issue and frustration on my iPhone (constant pop ups asking me to activate location access, which I prefer not to do). I've seen the 'answer' for Android devices, but has anyone found a solution (or at least explanation) for iOS yet?
By the way, my impression is that everything works fine with location access off, it's just that the message keeps coming back which is extremely annoying.
