I wake up 3 or 4 times in the night so my fitbit is unable to record my complete sleep periods. Anything I can do or is the fitbit app not for me?

Hi @Brianbt, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for the information that was shared with me. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Fitbit device you're currently using? Let me share with you that sleep autodetection is based on your movement. When you haven’t moved for about an hour, your device assumes that you’re asleep. Additional data (such as the length of time your movements are indicative of sleep behavior) help confirm that you’re asleep. Morning movement tells your tracker that you’re awake, therefore, if when you wake up 3 to 4 times, the Fitbit device will struggle to track your sleep.
Your device's setting can record your sleep in either "sensitive" mode for extremely detailed sleep reporting or "normal" mode for a more basic idea of your sleep patterns. Note that if you use a Fitbit device with heart-rate tracking to detect your sleep stages, this setting doesn't apply.
That being said, if you're using a device that records Sleep Stages, I suggest you to check the sensitiveness on your device settings, going into your account, tapping on the device itself and then making sure that the sleep sensitiveness is currently on Normal and not Sensitive.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
