I have a surge paired to a Huawei p8. I have tried all the different fixes listed in various forums. I have notification on in the all on my phone set to Huawei contacts. I have notifications on on my surge. I get absolutely nothing. Anyone with a P8 solved this problem. I have later Android and fitbit versions.

Ok so...there has been a lot of chatter on here about the Huawei P9 Lite, why is this phone still not compatible? I bought this phone 2 months ago after it got great reviews etc and i just bought my Charge 2 today - i never even thought of looking at a compatibility list for issues with new modern phones!!it's f*****g ridiculous...and so my wife settled for a Sony Xperia XA...her phone lacks half the features of the P9 Lite and yet it's fully compatible with charge 2 on bluetooth v4.1!! i just cannot get my head around this, the whole community is banging on about this and you developers are not listening!! please get it sorted!!!!

@PhysixGuy, the developers do not follow nor respond to posts on the Community - it is a forum for users to help users - but, I am sure they are aware of the problems with various phone compatibility issues. I hope they get the issues resolved in the near future.

A very warm welcome to the Fitbit Community @ByronG!

Since the Huawei P9 lite is not a supported device, syncing issues like these are to be expected. In the meantime, I'd recommend that you try to use a different mobile device or a computer to sync. At least, until the P9 lite is added to the supported devices list.

Thanks for your understanding. If you have any questions, be sure to let me know.

@Jammathegreek Welcome to the Community! At this time it doesn't look like your phone is on Fitbit's Supported Devices list. I recommend using another device such as a tablet, or computer to pair your tracker. I hope you can start using your Alta HR soon!

Another very frustrated user, having just discovered my new P9 Lite isn't compatible with my Flex 2. It doesn't support any of the recent Huawei phones either: Honor 7&8 or P9 variants which are some of the bestselling handsets in the country. Appalling customer service, if there was a solution why hasn't it been sorted by now. Stop fobbing us off by telling us you're working on it- JUST FIX IT OR ADMIT YOU CAN'T!!!

Hi Lanuza Fitbit,

We're really not interested in repeated messages telling us to keep checking for our phones to be addedto the supported list, we want to know WHEN they will be on the list!!

Hello,

i made the same mistake - I bought Fitbit Flex 2 and I'm owner of Huawei P9 lite.

I spent money to buy fitbit and... usb bluetooth dongle (cause i didn't have in a box). Trying to connect fitbit using Huawei, and omg, computer with dongle (not original, made by fitbit) was a dissaster. Lost of many hours and money (dont have chance to send fitbit back to store). I will not recomend fitbit products cause you are focusing on new, modern, colorful desings of smartbands, not developing technologies, support and taking care of us - clients.

Fitbit did at least send me a free dongle, but using a computer once a day is hardly what I expected from a new model Fitbit.  I've just found the packaging and it clearly states Android on the box! I'm going to keep publicising this until they sort out the app or admit publicly that it's not going to pair.

Fitbit are not bothered they have our money.

This problem has been going on since early 2016 i don't think that fitbit have even tried to sort these issues, everybody gets the same standard reply.

All we can do is spread the word about fitbit ripping customers off and never purchase from them again.Man Mad
