@RD_HUAWEIY7prim thanks for joining us! Our devs are still working to get new versions of Android phones working with the Fitbit app.

Sometimes non compatible Android devices may meet all the requirements by the system allowing them to sync intermittently even when they are not listed. But, since Huawei Y7 Prime is not supported yet and tested by our development team this connectivity may not always be successful.

If possible, try setting up or sync via a device listed as supported or using a computer. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!

Oh and btw, you might have noticed that I moved your post from the iOS App board to the Android App board. In here, you'll be able to get more relevant info related to your inquiry; plus this helps us to keep the community organized for everyone!

Thanks for your understanding. See you around the forums! Smiley Happy

That's not true @MariamV. In the last 2 years no new models were added to the compatible list, except for 2. Fitbit abandoned Android. Please either admit it or fix it.

Well, just go take a look at the thread were they discuss the official compatibility list.

You'll see that they added only 3 android smartphone models in the last 2 years!

@RD_HUAWEIY7prim & @luca85 Thanks for the follow up guys and also for the feedback!

Despite nowadays, high end mobile devices are made under the same core specifications, not all the phones work in the same way; so it takes time to make sure a device will be compatible, in order to guarantee all the features are supported.

Testing new devices take time. I really wouldn't like giving you any misleading info or any false expectations by providing you guys a timeline for when more Android devices will be added. Our devs have to test Android devices to make sure they will seamlessly sync and work with your  Fitbit devices. Therefore, they need to make sure that the sync and other functions will properly work. They have to run many tests to make sure that all functions and features work on new Android mobile devices. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!

In the meantime, you can try syncing with a different supported device or using a computerHope that helps to get you up and syncing.

See you around!

Hey @MariamV, this answer is not satisfactory.

From the end of 2015 your team deemed compatible exclusively 3 phone models. That's outright unacceptable. And the other ones just don't work. It's not that they aren't officially supported (which would be bad anyway). It's that they don't work at all.
