I had the same problem with my asus zenfone 2.
First i tried to sync with my blaze tracker device for notifications which didn't work.
As my device is not in the list of supported devices published by fitbit team.
Then i sync it with xiaomi redmi 2 (andriod version 4.3) then i start receiving notifications on my blaze device.
Then i again tried to sync with my asus zenfone 2 (andriod version 6.0.1) but it failed again.
Second time i sync my blaze with xiaomi note 3 (andriod version 6.0.1) then notifications started.
Now again i have tried to sync with my asus device this time it worked
my blaze started receiving notifications.
Thing is that you have to sync with same Android version compatible device first then with your asus zenfone 2.
Hope this helps someone

Glad to see you around @RohitJugdar!
Since your Asus Zenfone has Android 6.0+, it has one of the features that are necessary for being able to sync with your tracker. However, since it's not an official compatible device, that would mean that you will encounter some issues for syncing and enabling Call and Text notifications.
I understand there are other devices with previous Android version (like your Xiaomi RedMi 2) that are compatible for syncing, but please note that other details are taken in consideration for adding a phone as compatible. However, I'll make sure to pass your feedback along!
By the way, I have moved your post to this new thread to keep sorted our community and your post have more attention for relevant help.
See you around!

Hi my wife's Zenfone2 had the same problem we had to turn off the "require encryption" in the fitbit Apps setting under notifications and it synced flawlessly.
