ICON EXPLANATION ...

When (Android app for my flex) I go to "Friends" I see the icons of all my Friends.

When I hit the "+" icon at the bottom right of my screen a list is brought up:  "FRIENDS WITHOUT FITBIT".

This is presumably the list of my contacts that Fitbit cannot determine have Fitbit ...

The icons mostly consist of a plus sign with a silhouette of head and shoulders.

If I press one of these icons it turns into a clock icon - after which I can do nothing ...

I suspect that to those with Facebook (or other social media) these icons mean something.

To me --- not so much.

Let me help you to clarify your inquiry. 🙂 If you see a little clock instead of a plus sign next to your friend's name that means that the request has been sent and you'll have to wait until your friend's accept.

What happens if you put in an incorrect e-mail address.  They did not provide any way to cancel these requests that I can see.

Seems silly to not provide a way to cancel a pending request.
