I updated my FitBit app this morning on my Samsung Galaxy S3. After doing a sync with my Surge this afternoon after my run I noticed that the time is now wrong on the Surge and my steps reset to zero. I don't know that the sync was what caused the problem, but the timing is about the same. I am currently unable to get my surge to display the right time, to display the right number of steps, or to sync. The device is only displaying the number of steps since the last sync. Though I was able to un-pair/re-pair my device after a couple attempts I am unable to get a sync to work. I continually get a message saying "Sync error, please try again."
I have searched the forums and taken the following steps, none of which have helped:
- I have reset my surge several times
- I have reset my phone
- I have uninstalled and re-installed the fitbit app
- I have un-paired and re-paired my device
The firmware version on my fitbit is 16.34.5.14
