Ionic not staying connected or syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

First my problem start with this new update. I read online to do a factory reset so I did. Then it didn't want to sync. Setup wifi and it works every now and then. I'm SUPER frustrated. Nothing online is helping fix my issue. When I look at the Bluetooth connection on my watch it keeps turning it to off. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've always loved my Fitbit but if this doesn't get fixed, I'm going to look at another brand option.

Hi @JessCoulter. Welcome on board!

Thanks for letting me know about your Ionic, as well for your efforts while getting it working. I understand how you're feeling and I'm sorry that this started after the update. I'm here to help you out with this. Before anything else, please verify that the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. Although you've tried some steps prior posting, please give a try to the following:

  1. Remove the Ionic and any other device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. To avoid any interference, turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
  3. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Go back one screen and tap on force stop.
  5. Reboot your phone and perform a regular restart on your Ionic.
  6. Open the Fitbit app, tap on the profile's icon and then on setup a device.
  7. Choose the Ionic, tap on replace device and wait until the process is completed.
  8. Then tap on Notifications and follow the onscreen instructions to allow notifications. This will ensure the connection of your Ionic and your phone's Bluetooth.

Let me know how everything goes!
