Is Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 compatible with Fitbit?

SIncere apologies if this is the wrong area! Looking to get my husband a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 for Christmas, but as it appears to be relatively new, I'm unsure if it will be detected by the Fitbit app. I've been using it with my device for a long time now, and want his device, whichever one I get, to do so as well, if only for simplicity's sake 🙂

TIA

Elaine

Hi there @EPPack, welcome to the Community Forums.

I'm afraid to say that the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is not compatible with the Fitbit tracker/watches or the Fitbit app. You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

I've moved your post to the Android App as there are more chances to get related replies here.

Let me know if you have any questions present, I'll be around.
