Is it safe to update to 2.76

What specifically has bee changed.  2.75 broke gps connection so I am back at 2.74.2 and want far more info than the useless bug fixes note we get for each update.

Specifically what bug fixes what added features and was this version actually tested before release

I hope you get answers to your questions but I would suggest the chances are quite low that fitbit are going to say that they didn't bother to test it.

I guess I am looking for fitbit to detail their testing methods bc either
they aren't testing or they are using pis poor methods and maybe the
community can give them some.advice on improving since apparently fitbit
doesn't like to hire competent programmers instead relying on their
customers to pay for the privilege of beta testing for them. I might have
to send them a bill for my time...

I have disabled the auto update for fitbit so I can wait for a few days to see what everyone starts complaining about first. With fitbit being so snotty about loading of older versions of the app I don't want to take any chances. Also with the change in the minimum android requirement you're sunk if the last update was a troublesome one. I know most phones etc. are well beyond this minimum but also most of them are not verified as compatible.

No way would I fork out for a versa while most of the time I feel like I'm being done up like a kipper.
