Hi @Febirkbeck, great to have you as a new member of the Fitbit Community! My apologies for the late response. At this time the A73 Oppo phone is not among our list of Compatible devices.
The difference here, sine the app is not optimised to work with the mobile device in question. Is prone some unexpected behavior affect the functionality of the app or the tracker. However is important to mention this is not an statement that the app won't work or you won;t be able to enjoy the features of your Fitbit tracker.
For more information please review our help article: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
See you around and let me know if you have other questions.

Best AnswerHow did you get it to work? Mine is an early one with Android 7 looking around it looks like you need Android 10
App says not compatible. But then again I'm a bit of a technology dinosaur.

App says not compatible. But then again I'm a bit of a technology dinosaur. Hope someone here can point me in the right direction. Just bought a Fitbit Charge 4. Works fine on my wife's phone, around 3yrs old Samsung one.
Best AnswerAs far as I can tell the app currently needs Android 8.0 and above. It probably won't install on anything older. You can see this in the Play Store at the bottom of the page for 'about this app'.
I have Android 8 with app 3.62 and it does work.
Fitbit release notes incorrectly say it needs Android 10.
Best AnswerFor those who are asking here is the current compatibility list from Fitbit: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/technology/compatible-devices.
😃 I hope this provides an answer and clarify to those you are needing confirmation.
