Is this phone supported in the android app?  It's "shakey" when I open to sync.

Indeed the LG K550 is not a supported device. Having said that, you could post about it in our Feature Suggestions board. That way other users can comment and vote on the suggestion to show that they support it. If you do, be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.
