Issue logging into app

I receive the following error message when trying to log in to the fitbit app on my new android phone: Error contacting Recaptcha. Please go back and try again!

I am logging in via fitbit account and typed in the email and password manually. Help would be much appreciated!!

Thanks a lot for taking a step forward and getting in touch with us. Let's try to get this resolved!

Since you mentioned your phone is new, I'm assuming your phone has the latest app version. It can happen that the Android system version your phone is running might not be compatible with the current Fitbit app minimum requirements.

Right now, you need at least Android 11 to run it. Please make sure your phone has completed all pending updates and try to uninstall and reinstall the app.

I have the same issue on my new phone. 

I have cleared the fitbit app cache, restarted the phone, deleted & installed the latest version of the fitbit app.

Cannot get past this continuous Recaptcha error.

In order to better understand the issue and look for additional steps, I'd really love to get a screenshot of the error message you're seeing.

If it's possible for you, can you try logging in from another device, just to rule out that this isn't an issue with your current device?

I just tried it again, to get you a screenshot, but this time it worked, with no Recaptcha error. 

So I am OK on my new device now.
