With the latest app update, most of the charts have become unusable. On the weight chart, I can no longer distinguish between the weight and the trend (because they are the same color). Also, I can no longer tap on the screen and get the date for that data point. Also, the x axis on the charts is now fixed to the range of the chart, not the range of the data. Also I can no longer swipe to move from one chart to the next. Also, many chart have been removed.
Who thought that this update was a good idea? Did they do any user testing on this update?
Please rollback this update so I can get the old charting behavior back.

Completely agree @moffitj .
It is such a shame they've done this. I literally got a new versa 2 with free premium before the charts changed. I'd had non-premuim for years, but never had a smartwatch (previous was a charge 3)!.
Anyway, I was using the premium features loads, really helping me & clear to read. Now they've changed, I'm cancelling premium subscription when the free trial runs out. It's pointless now, data is unusable really.

Fitbit seems to be suffering from the Sunk Cost Fallacy. They've invested time, effort and money into making these changes, so they will continue bloody-mindedly down this path, even though the cost of continuing outweighs the benefit of admitting it's a failed project and returning to a level that was better, even if flawed.
The old version is riddled with numerous flaws they steadfastly refuse to address. It's a mystery as to why they tried to fix the non-broken parts while ignoring the things people are actually asking for. Maybe it's like the issues so many, including me, who have been happily using Rocket Player on Android for many years are suffering. New owners are developing the app, have no access to the original developers and have no idea what they're looking at in the source. Rather than learn it and fix real issues, they just try and fail to make it look prettier while introducing new bugs. That the new reviews for both apps in the Google store are overwhelmingly one star should be some sort of hint.
I've finally been able to access 3.66 as I'm writing this and... my weight trend line is now light blue instead of green. Every other issue seems to remain. I've been away for a few days so my weight today is the first measure this week. Still a single dot of data showing the current week rather than the last 7 days.

I also got the 3.66 update. They have made a few adjustments, so thanks Fitbit. For example the "Lean vs Fat" tab does not look like a giant blue blob anymore which is definitely good. The colors are more easily separated which is good too.
However, issues remain:
- ***This is hugely important*** Needs to be a running week/month/3 months/year - do they not realize that on January 1st, all of those graphs will be exactly the same? The 3 months tab won't be useful unit basically July - because it will be the same as the year! If you're monitoring progress you need the running time frame. (This is true for all sections - weight, sleep, etc.)
- Still going full screen as an option is ideal so you can actually see data - on a phone screen these graphs are pretty small
- The sleep section needs some love - my sleep score is pretty consistent ranging from like 70 -90. Even with a full month of data (August) because it is scaled from 0-100 you basically see no variation. And this is the default landing view on sleep! (see below example for a full month of data - mind you tomorrow this whole chart will be a single column - which will be even more useless!)
- Hours slept same thing. Rescale to show variation. Going from 0-12 hours when I generally sleep between 6-8 hours doesn't look like anything!
- On the "Sleeping Heart Rate" graph when you hover you get the heart rate, but not the time. Can't tell when or what may have caused changes.
- Stress management graph - scale appropriately! Once again from 0-90 shows no variation if you're generally in the 70-90 range!
All the graphs need to be scaled so you can see some variation. The week is even worse. In the old version you could see the number on the column.

has brought back the averages for food consumption but it would be good to
bring back the daily deficit calculation and the average deficit for each
week.

3.66 also now crashing when attempting to log custom foods that require scrolling down to find.
Looks like time to find the old version I have saved as a type of file I'm not allowed to mention and install it again.

I still haven't updated since I went back to an older version back in Jul. I don't know when/if I'll update it to this mess of graphs 🤷🏼

I held off for two versions and made the mistake of thinking 3.66 was improved. Staying on 3.63 now until I'm actually sure.

brilliant... my HR data for 'the month' is a single dot...
Why isn't it a rolling average anymore? I want to see the past months worth not this month, its the 1st...

along with this awful graph making it appear my RHR has shot up! It has gone up 2bpm, however - I've been very stressed & this is expected. It is still at 63 which is good, why market it st people like this rather than rolling?

Can anyone explain why my charts are displaying red "over" when I am way under calories eaten than out. I don't know how to attach a picture here.
And also why the charts are stating for example 300g of protein eaten, when I've only eaten 80g....I don't understand these charts at all! Such a mess!

Useless charts now, Sept 1 and no rolling weekly, monthly or yearly data, Just one data point. I was planning to upgrade to a Sense2 all summer when it came out. It is now out but what is the point with this very bad downgrade to the software.

On the weight chart, I was able to keep a good eye on my trend with the 30 days option ... Now at the beginning of each month, I have no idea how I am doing, much frustration.
Please, as mentioned many times here, return the option to view the history by a number of days.

I dont have a weight goal set and the charts are still saying over budget (red) when I've burned more than eaten....they make no sense....also one day they'll be red and the next back to blue under budget. Hate this update

It's been over a month and the Fitbit changes have stayed the same despite all of our complaints. I don't think they're going to improve anything. They will just keep the same bad changes. I don't bother to look at the charts much anymore. They used to encourage me. The graphs were easy to see. They had bright colours. They would give you a long period of time, not just "this week" or "this month". I don't want to take out my microscope each time to see the tiny graph. I can barely see it. What's the point of a graph that you can barely see? They might as well not have it at all. I don't feel encouraged with this format. It's like the Windows 95 version of Fitbit. Why don't they add more pixelation and chunky Pakman type graphics to make it more fun. Are we in 1995 or 2022? They put the "fat burning" zone up from 100 to 110 so now I'm doing less cardio than before. The whole thing is discouraging. Now I just try to achieve my 8 km a day and I just use Fitbit for tracking that. I might as well just use my phone to track my kilometres. Maybe they could mail us all magnifying glasses so we can see the graphs better. I wonder whose smart idea was this to make everything worse. It was probably some VIP who ordered it and nobody dared to go against him or her for fear of losing their job.

You can no longer scroll left/right. That is one of the major drawbacks of the new graphs!

And it would be nice if they put the colours back to indicate if you're in the blue non fat burning zone, the fat burning zone or the cardio zone. Now it's all one colour. It's not encouraging to look at it. The colours gave me a kind of affirmation that I put in the cardio minutes. I don't care at what time I got a certain amount of kilometres. I'd like to know how long the cardio minutes went on the graph but now you can't see it.
