With the latest app update, most of the charts have become unusable. On the weight chart, I can no longer distinguish between the weight and the trend (because they are the same color). Also, I can no longer tap on the screen and get the date for that data point. Also, the x axis on the charts is now fixed to the range of the chart, not the range of the data. Also I can no longer swipe to move from one chart to the next. Also, many chart have been removed.
Who thought that this update was a good idea? Did they do any user testing on this update?
Please rollback this update so I can get the old charting behavior back.

I called customer service, the only way to change the app back is to rate the app in the store and leave a message with the developers.

Charts are worse than an automatic word chart from high school project. And to add insult to injury the sleep schedule is inverted to make it look like I'm sleeping from 3 in the afternoons till 10 at night. I asked customer service for help and they just said to restart my phone. Yeah, I'm sure restarting my phone re programs the code to a better version. This will have to end my premium account if they don't fix it soon. https://photos.app.goo.gl/sr78uzT2797w3Fy27

I agree, I don't want to use the app at the moment because the charts are pretty unusable. Is there a way to go back to the previous version?

The latest update has made the tracker information displayed pretty much useless. I look at my Heart Rate data for activity and training and now all you see is a chart with no data point you can correlate anything to. Very disappointing update. Whoever came up with this update should be fired.
I used the Heart Rate chart regularly but it is no longer of any use to me since the chart is pretty much useless in allowing any correlation to times and heart rates. Please update back to the previous charts so we can use the data. If not updated soon I will be looking at competitor replacement products so I can review my data again.

I agree, the new charts are not usable.
I don't understand how something like this can be published.
The usability is really bad and fullscreen view should come back.
Here some screenshots of my mobile phone.

Would really appreciate a response from a moderator, acknowledging these concerns. Please don't try and tell us it's better. It isn't. It's horrible and utterly unusable.

The scale is the worst part to me. For no reason that I can find the scale on weight goes from 150 to 250. Even on the month chart. So my month progress is just a horizonal line.

Nope. It worked that way before the last update, but not anymore. Monthly now gives the same daily data as the week view, just broken down in even tinier, harder to read bars over the days of the month rather than the week. As well, it's no longer rolls through the previous 7 days or 4 weeks, so comparing data over time no longer works correctly...starting with a blank graph every Sunday/the 1st and removing the ability to scroll does not help me out. I'm looking into other fitness trackers over this, removing functionality and making data that much harder to utilize is ridiculous.

I agree to all of the above. Just a thin unreadable line within a chart that has a scale too large to show any movement or detail.

I hate to say it, but this is exactly what I was afraid of, when google took over. I mean when has google ever made a good ui? If at all, it's in products they later pulled out of the market. it's almost like they want us to suffer.
We used to have weekly data when we went to the month view of calories chart.
The important number for me was the the average calorie balance over the week. So it would say: for this week you were on average 50 calories per day over target. This information is missing now.
Model of Phone: irrelevant
Screenshot: I need the old app for a relevant screen shot.

The new graphs are harder to see, harder to gather useful comparisons from and, why oh why have you gone from a default "past seven days format" to a "this week" format. Meaning I can't immediately compare Sunday to Saturday without going to a monthly view -- with those teeny tiny bars my eye can barely see?
While we're at it, the new bar graphs versus line graph for nightly oxygen levels are a lot less attractive and in fact somewhat disturbing -- given that you've changed the low/high color-coding threshold dramatically.
If there's ANY way I can roll back to the previous version and not have to see this version appear again on my phone, please let me know.
Thanks.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.
Thanks for the detailed information, the screenshots and every step tried on your own. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and truly appreciate your feedback.
Let me share our team is aware of the issues with the weight graph and trend lines. They're currently working to identify a solution as soon as possible. In the meantime, I'd recommend check your weight trends chart on your online dashboard, so you can clearly see your data.
As a side note, if you're having issues with the Estimated Oxygen Variation graph, please share your feedback in this thread. This will help us to keep the forums organized and keep our team informed of the impact to you and other members.
@Specky I checked your screenshot and while I understand the graph doesn't clearly display your data, may I know if the data from previous years is now displayed? If not, let me know the model of your phone as well as the OS version (e.g. Android 11) so we can further investigate this situation.

Adding my voice to this. The new charts are as good as unusable, the old ones were perfectly fine and didn't need changing. What is with this trend of "updating" things for the sake of it, and paying zero attention to improving at least some aspect of it.
Fitbit, if you want a user voice to guide development (seems unlikely), I have a suggestion: Do some work on the web interface - it's a hodge podge of what looks like new ideas and stale, outdated garbage blended together into a half-baked kludge. Seriously, what's with the mash up of styles?

I have to assume the new charts were an update error. The weight chart is simply terrible and useless now. You should have someone look into what appears to be a corrupted update. The old weight chart showed mountains and valleys. The new weight chart is practically a straight line that conveys no useful information whatsoever.
Both Samsung and Google are coming out with new watches this year. Now is not the time to fails so spectacularly.

Hello @Uncleian and welcome to the Community. You mention the app, but you posted your question on the web dashboard forum. Do you use an Android or iPhone. If this is a new app bug, then this thread should get moved to the appropriate app forum. Then it can get the attention it deserves.

It seems that the app has updated and I am no longer able to expand the weight section to see the trend in an expanded view. Seems that the update has been retrograde.
