It just stopped syncing "Your sync has been scheduled and will start soon."

I've been using my FItBit for about a month now.  I read the pinned post about location.  I have location enabled, and my phone software hasn't been updated since August 2016.  An icon has changed on my screen as well.  To the right of Sync Now, there is a solid red circle with a white ! inside. If I tap it, the above message pops up. This is the case whether or not the All-Day Sync is turned on.  Any suggestions?

I would try restarting your phone and then restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

Give this a few tries as it doesn't always work first time. If it still won't sync after that then there are some more suggestions in this help file:

Thanks, Steve. This looks like just what I need.

 

A suggestion to FitBit staff. Perhaps the pinned post at the top should include a link to these 2 articles.

Every day I spend hours trying to sync my Fitbit charge 2 to my Android. Dies this count as exercise?

Perhaps if I walk back to the store I purchased it it would be beneficial.

It really sucks.
