Keep getting challenge limit reached after update

Ever since I updated my app, I cannot start any more challenges.  It always says I've reached my active challenge limit.   People can invite me to their challenges, but I can't start one of my own.  I've tried logging in an out of the app, not sure what else to do.  This has been happening for weeks and there have been times I was only in 2-3 challenges and it will still not let me start another one.  I have a fitbit flex2.  Thanks

Thanks for letting me know that this started to happened after the update, as well for the steps tried prior posting. I'm sorry that you're having this experience, and let's work on this together. If you've not done so, please try uninstalling the Fitbit app, rebooting your phone and reinstalling the Fitbit app one more time. If the issue persists, please provide me with the following:

 

  1. Your phone's model and Android version.
  2. Do you have the old dashboard with 5 icons at the bottom, or the new dashboard with 3 icons?
  3. Take a screenshot of the error message and attach it in your reply.

I had done all of those things during a previous support call.   I went on the online support chat yesterday and they said there is a "bug" that is affecting a number of users which is blocking them from starting new challenges, and until a fix is developed there was nothing else I could do.    They said they would be pushing out the fix once it has been developed but in the meantime, no new challenges for me I guess.

@bassgirl2112, I'm glad to hear that you received assistance from our team. @DayOne2019, thanks for joining this thread. I understand where are you coming from about the challenges, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience that you've had with this. As you know, our team is aware that this has affected some of our users and they're working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible. While I don't have a time frame when this will be fixed, I'll update this thread once I have more details from them.

I also am having this problem. I used to like Fitbit,  but recently I've been having problems and they seem to be getting worse. Guess I'll have to look for a different brand of tracker

I'm having the same problem as the others. I have 4 active challenges then 6 finished challenges. I'm not able to start a challenge or participate because I have 10.

 

Also, there should be a delete button for challenges finished and messages.

I have the same issue. Plus there is a Pohono Trail from weeks ago that is still on my list! I can only do 3 challenges  it seems.  Help!
