Is there any reason as to why some Android phones are supported some are not, I have lg g4, I can't pair my first fitbit, flex 2, LG g3 g2 v10 are supported, these phones are almost identical in specs, why is g4 left out. I can't even connect to it to Windows either using the dongle. This is a very bad first impression of these products . The flex btw connects flawlessly on iPhone.

No I will not buy an iPhone, and I'm pretty sure the same thing as been said two years ago, that the tech team are working on a fix. But anyway my non-supported LG G4 is now paired and syncing, maybe you can pass this along to the tech team. How I got it to pair was this, I turned off the Bluetooth on my wife's iPhone that is connected with another fitbit, as for the syncing, it's having a hard time finding the fitbit again until I turnoff one of the phone's Bluetooth or if one of the fitbits is not also syncing, So it seems to me that multiple fitbits at home interfere with each other . So far my fitbit is syncing at work, away from another fitbit.

Hello @Markymark1! Welcome to the Community.
We're continuously working on adding devices to our supported list. At this moment we do not have any specific details of why is a certain device not supported and when it will be. I'd recommend to continue checking the list and using a device that syncs smoothly, like the iPhone you mentioned.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello @Markymark1! Thank you very much for letting us know how you got the Fitbit to sync.
I'll be sure to have it in mind in the future as a great suggestion to other users looking to sync with their LG G4. It's truly great to see users sharing their experiences and workarounds in here.
If you have the time, you should take a look at our Discussion boards. There you can find a lot of different topics to talk about.
Hope to see you around!
I have the same problem since the last update. Please fix it. I have no other device to sync with. Older lg's are supported, how hard is it to support a more recent device.

Best AnswerI had to use the MacBook app to do the setup but that did not activate call and text notifications, which was one of the main reasons I got the phone. I went through Chat Help and Lucy C. walked me through the process of activating notifications through the android app (once the Fitbit was set up through the MacBook). Outstanding assistance.
Best AnswerUpdate: following the most recent upgrade of the FitBit app, I started having problems syncing my FitBit to my phone. I found a solution on this forum from Nelly G on this page: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Alta/Sync/m-p/2282775#M47641. A bit convoluted, but it works every time. My solution is to sync two or three times a week instead of daily, because it is kind of a pain to do it every day.
