Device Manufacture: LG
Device Model: G3
Android OS Version: 5.0
Fitbit App Version: 2.3
Error Message on the Fitbit App:
When opeinng app, on most occassion (circa 80% of the time), it will show an error trying to connect to my Charge HR & sync ... the error will normally be an excalation mark. In this state, the app doesnt update display and does not support call notification.
I require to manually tap the Charge HR icon 5 or 6 times before it will eventually change status to 'Connected' and then it updates and syncs.
While in connected state, call notification is supported.
Regardless of connected state, when phone display times out and goes off ... connection is lost and the above process starts again.
I can also sync via iPad running iOS8 which appears to work OK but I don't always have iPad with me (and the app is not a native iPad app). I can also sync via iMac (albeit manually).
So, issues are not terminal but certainly not slick ... I had assumed a constant / on demand sync experience with the phone and not a frustrating one.

Did the app update to 2.3.1 today?
Seems a little more stable ... seems to connect to the Charge HR more reliably & syncs every time (so far).
Fingers crossed!

@mbodde I'm truly sorry for late response! Is it possible for you to take a screenshot of what you're seeing? Also, did you notice this issue happen when you updated the app? I just got back from a break and was told that there a patch released to address some issues with the latest update.
Let me know!

Update from me ...
I'm now of version 2.4.1 running on my LG G3 and interfacing with a Charge HR (also getting dashboard updates from an Aria scale).
App works great now ... connects & syncs reliably.
Also love the 'drag to rearrange' feature on the dashboard ... not sure if it was always there???!!!

I've updated to 2.4.1 but my Charge still won't sync with my LG G3 running Lollipop (5.0). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it didn't make a difference. I've never had any problems syncing with my desktop or my tablet. Any suggestions?

Hello @randyseligman ! Have you tried restarting your tracker? I'm also starting to notice that some mobile carriers carry different hardware/software on their phones, which can cause a bit of confusion when syncing. With which mobile carrier are you using?

@mbodde I went ahead and did some research on the LG Lucid and it doesn't look like it comes equipped with the necessary Bluetooth to sync with Fitbit trackers. The LG Lucid has Bluetooth 3.0 and Fitbit requires Bluetooth 4.0 BLE. You can still sync using a computer or other compatible mobile device.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and let me know if there's anything I can do to assist.

I have already asked the question in a couple ways and now can't find my question, so here I go again: I am interested in buying an LG Ultimate 2 smartphone, but it is not on the list of approved devices for running the Fitbit app. It seems to meet all the criteria for Android version, BLE and ability to run Google Play apps. Why is it not on the list? Any advice? Should I buy a less desirable phone that IS on the list, or buy the one I want figuring it will work? I use Tracfone as it is by far the best deal for cell service when I am traveling and want to upgrade to a phone that will sync with the app. We have NO cell service where we live, so sync with Fitbit dashboard at home. Loving my new Charge HR!

Hi @LindaH2O With the every growing list of Android devices, it's hard to keep the list updated. You will know if your phone is capable of syncing with Fitbit trackers if you're phone has these specifications. If you have any further questions, please let me know!
@randyseligman Are you still experiencing issues? We're looking to have an update come out soon. I'll keep you and everyone here once it's released.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! The specs appear to match perfectly, so I think I will go ahead and buy the phone. I'll let you know on here how it works with the Fitbit app.

I'm having issues now, shortly after upgrading to Android 5.0.2 on my LG G2 (Verizon). I had been using my FitBit Zip with the phone on an older version of Android (4.4.2) since mid-February without any problems. Yesterday, I upgraded to v5.0.2 (Lollipop, which Verizon has just made available for LG G2 users) and while it worked initially (my last sync was around 10am today), it seems my phone/app can no longer find the tracker.
I've tried all the troubleshooting steps given here (restarting phone, restarting the Zip, clearing data, resetting bluetooth, etc.) with no success.
Here's hoping the update that @RickyFitbit mentioned will help with this issue!
