Latest Fitbit app on Pixel Watch: cannot resume an activity after pausing

The latest Fitbit app update on my Pixel Watch 3 completely broke the ability to resume an activity after pausing. Tried clearing data, rebooting watch, and recording several types of activities.

The watch now cannot be used for activity tracking until this is fixed.

Fitbit app version 3.32.1.742009115.release

I'm experiencing trouble resuming on my PW1 as well. I have auto-pause on. So, pause is auto and resume is not working correctly. Are you aware of if this is the same issue?

Please submit your issue using the Feedback option in the Fitbit app:

• Tap on your picture in the upper right of the Today page
• Tap on Feedback in the menu that opens
• Complete the prompts and submit

The feedback reports go directly to the team for review.

This STILL isn't resolved. Im about to say screw fitbit and move onto something else. It renders the whole thing practically useless when I have to completely start a new workout just because I need to pause for a minute. Pretty basic function to be able to resume.
