I had this with mine after 5mnths. Fitbit replaced it and happened with the replacement aswell. Fortunately I was within the 6months of purchase so got a full refund from Amazon and bought something else.
My sister has a charge 3 (even after I warned her not to buy it) and the same has happened with hers so she's having to go through the process of getting hers replaced too.
