Linking more than 1 device to same account

I just purchased Luxe for more formal use. I use Sense for everyday wear. I did not realize until I set up Luxe that the app only supports 1 device, and switching back and forth requires new set up each time. I was told by CS that only thing I could do is set up new account with separate valid email and then switch accounts in app when switching devices. But the data will not link between the 2 accounts. Seems to me this is very poor set up and I would think program could be updated. I wish I had checked before buying Luxe, probably would not have spent money!

Hello @Njgernold

Gosh I’m so sorry that you might have been misled or maybe misunderstood when you were trying to get answers to connecting two Fitbits to the same account. You can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Charge 4, Fitbit Charge 5, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, Fitbit Luxe, Fitbit Sense, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time.

You can read more about it here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1715.htm.

It would seem like a nightmare to set up the Luxe as a new device when your having a formal situation only to remove it to pair your casual Sense Fitbit as a new device for everyday use…only to repeat the situation as life’s events dictate. So basically it could be done but it would be tricky and messy in my opinion to keep up.

I wish I had a better answer but I don’t so I thought the truth is the best response I can give you.
