I had trouble syncing my Blaze with my LG Tribute. I couldn't get past the setup screen on my Blaze. It wasn't on the list of compatible devices. I got another Phoneand tried it although it wasn't on the list of LG phones and it synced effortlessly. I just took a chance and got lucky. So, take that list with a grain of salt until it is updated.

Hi there @Mdentturner, thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community! Thank you for your input and your feedback. The latest update of our list has been recently with the addition of the Galaxy S8/S8+.
The scenario you experienced, is because nowadays many of the mobile phones we use are built with the same core specifications, either are compatible or not. So there might be some non-supported mobile devices that are able to sync and support the Fitbit features. However in these scenarios, the app is not optimized to run with these phones and we cannot guarantee all the features will work as is expected. In my case I'm using a phone that is not compatible and I haven't experienced any issues until I tested the new Ionic that I had issues. Tried with a compatible device and it was working as it should.
For the same reason we suggest to sync with a compatible device to enjoy all the features the Fitbit tracker and app has to offer.
See you later and hope this explanation helps.
