Location and syncimg

I hate this new fact that I am forced to turn in my location in order to sync my Fitbit.  I never had to do that before and since I purchased my new fit bit that is the case. Quite frankly I don't ever turn on my location and I was promised that they would update the program soon. Well that's been going on 6 months.

Is there anyway around this??

Unfortunately there isn't a way round this. It's a restriction imposed by Google. To sync data across bluetooth you have to have location services enabled.
