I used to not have to have the location setting on my phone on for it to sync with my fit bit flex and now it is needed to be on. Just wondering why the change.
This is probably due to an app update adding the location permission for compatibility with the new Blaze, which does not have a built-in GPS and needs to use the one in your phone to track biking and runs. It is only used if the function is needed.
