My daughter logged into the app on someone else's phone to sync. She forgot to log out. How can we log out of all devices so her information isn't on someone else's phone?

A very warm welcome to the Forums @Shelbs24!

The best way to go about this, to make sure that her account remains safe, is to manually change her password. To do so on a mobile device, please follow these steps:

  1. Log out of the account and then tap on the 'Forgot your password?' link.
  2. Follow the instructions on-screen and reset the password via that way.

Additionally, to do so on the web dashboard you can do the following:

  1. Log into her account on Fitbit.com and go to the settings.
  2. Click the Reset Password link below your email address.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Hope this is useful! Let me know if there are any questions.

I have changed her password but it appears she's still logged in on her
friend's phone - would she have to log out of the app on the actual phone
or can she log out of the app on another device and it will log put of the
app everywhere?

Hello @Shelbs24

Thanks for letting me know that you did change the password but that it didn't work. It has worked for me in the past, however in this situation she'd have to manually log out of the app on the other person's mobile device.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

On the app:

Go to your account > scroll down to manage my data > security and login > manage account access > and revoke any device you do not recognize
