I have found the food application very frustrating to use.
1. There are only two choices, Recent and Frequent.. I have found many food items get dropped if not used in a week or so.. Why not create a "library" where I can always find food I have taken the time to log?? Especially the ones I scan in.
2. Can I create a custom Meal versus just a food item? I have a tenancy to eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch.. However every day I have to log each item in.. I should be able to create a "meal" and then add my egg whites, turkey bacon, etc. etc. Unless anyone has figured this out?
3. Does anyone know how I can track sodium on this application? My doctor has put me on a low sodium diet and it would be so helpful if the application would add it for me.. It probably has the data when it imports and calories, etc.. but can I add sodum??
Otherwise - I LOVE MY FIT BIT.. LOVE MY ARIA SCALE.. 18 LBS LOST WITH 10 MORE TO GO 🙂

Hello @wendhami, good to see you are participating in our Fitbit Community!
The creation of a food library sounds like a great idea, I was searching in our Feature Suggestion board a similar idea, but I wasn't able to find one that describe your suggestion. In this case since this option is not available, feel free to post your own idea in the Feature Suggestion board if you are interest to have this option in a future. Our product development teams consult regularly to ensure we're delivering on what our users need and want. So please take a moment to visit and give us your feedback.
About creating meals in order to avoid logging each food item individually, it is possible. But not from your Fitbit app though; you need to do this from your online-Dashboard. Once you have created your meal, it will be available in your mobile app as a custom food. In the following post @EmilyEL explain in depth the process to create a meal: Creating Meals.
About your concern to track sodium, it is also possible but yet again is only available in the online-Dashboard from your Food section. The App will provide you the feature of Macro-nutrients but will display only Carbs, Fat and protein. For other nutrients like Sodium this will appear as "uncategorized cals" So is better to look this information in your onlie-Dashboard.
Ps. I saw you have a great progress regarding your fitness goals, keep the hard work and never lose your motivation.
Hope this information helps and stay awesome!
