Well fibit continues it's spiral into useless garbage. As of today you can't manually log activity calories in the app anymore. That was one of the last features that kept me on fitbit bc I do specialized workouts, not available in their standard list. So the ability to enter the activity and calories burned was essential basic feature. The stupid device wrongly thinks I'm using an elliptical or a bike most of the time and I'm not. So, best support can offer is for us to complain here. Waste of time. Samsung watch looking like the right choice more than ever.
I'm experiencing this too. Had a chat session, but lost it, now not letting me back in. Even with the Fitbit approved activities, it sets a default calorie count you can't change. Not good. Use to be able to customize calorie count.
What version are you using? I'm on Android version 3.70 and the feature is still available for me.

I have 3.70 also. 😞Sent from my U.S.Cellular© Smartphone
Wow, I just found a solution (change from former methods)! I entered the activity, accepted the default calories and saved it. I was then able to open the saved activity, edit it the calorie amount and save! Was never able to edit entries before (always had to delete and reenter.
Good? Awkward, but a solution.
Best AnswerI'm having the same problem. called the help center and they said the app needed to be updated to fix the issue, but it changed nothing. it was essential to be able to adjust the calories when you log a previous activity on the app, now it won't let us. I hope they fix this problem soon because it is getting very annoying not being able to enter the correct amount of calories
I think a few things changed quietly with 3.70. Swim doesn't show any breakdown of lengths. Just distance and number of lengths but no details, no stroke type etc.
Best Answerthanks for the workaround.
It's a pretty embarrassing level bug, I hope they fix it soon.
Best Answer@t.parker I just checked again and indeed the calories are greyed out but I still can't edit sessions. I think it's one of those A/B tests that Fitbit loves to do although removing features I'm not sure can gather much entusiasm.... I can't check the swimming data as I can't swim 😣
Best Answer@Dopovo I see this when I want to edit (in this case, the GPS Run):
The calories however are always greyed out even in the edit mode.
As for swimming, I can see the number of lengths and total distance but no breakdown at all. On Sense 2 there is no summary but only tells me to see details in the app but the app shows no details.
@renewtrad it may not work with fake activity as the details you'd want to see would be laps and stroke type which is rather hard to imitate without actual swimming.
Best AnswerAnyone know if they are intending on fixing this bug?
I could kind of get it working of spin bike after a few reentry attempts, but it doesn't seem to ever let me ever calories used for elliptical... Just had a made up number that is super low.
