Had a Fitbit Inspire, which worked great. The Luxe is a **ahem**. Received late October 2021. Wouldn't work out of the box - screen was frozen on the time. Called Fitbit and they said I needed to update the firmware. (While that should *fix* bugs, the Fitbit should still be functional out of the box. Updated and that solved the screen issue. However, it would not synce reliably. Have spoken to support 5 times now, since every other day it refuses to sync and I have to 'force stop' it in android apps, restart bluetooth, reopen the Fitbit app and it then *might* update after an incredibly long wait. Had none of these problems with my Inspire. Support has had me refresh it and even do a factory reset. Have followed ALL their instructions and still have to waste time at least every other day to get it to sync. On my last call to Fitbit, the rep just said, "What do you want me to do about it?" and ended the call. Additionally, even with correct time zone set (even finally set it manually), still only records sleep sporadically and, except once, won't record any sleep before midnight. Now that the only troubleshooting they know, Fitbit has washed their hands of the issues and refuses to deal with an obviously defective product. Can't even count the inordinate number of firmware updates they have issued to fix "bugs", which only goes to show what a product they rushed to market.

Hi @Chanton I have the Luxe too and there has only been one firmware update since I had mine and that was a few months ago. There have been app updates and one came to me today. Which Android system and phone do you have? It could be what the problem is.

Hi, I'm posting this everywhere because after 2 years I finally managed to make my Fitbit sync ad behave as it is supposed to.
I had an Inspire 2 and now a Luxe with a Honor 10 phone. Only one thing helped me manage to sync the Luxe (don't know about the Inspire 2 because I only tried it now in frustration since yet another device was not syncing...).
Some Android phones seem to have a very aggressive battery optimization and will turn off background processes.
Go to Settings -> Battery optimization -> Fitbit and select Don't allow optimization.
All other tips from Fitbit were garbage and beyond frustrating. I don't want to think about how often I restarted the phone, the app, Bluetooth, cleared the cache, reinstalled the app etc. Nothing else than turning off the battery optimization helped, hope it helps you too.
As for the firmware update, I did that before I tried the battery optimization. So if this doesn't solve that problem too, I hat to do it with someone else's phone which seemed to be more compatible with Fitbit. Not nice, but did the trick.
