The macronutrient section says for today I have had
158g carbs
58g fat
96g protein
But if I click on nutrition facts for today it says I have had
121.7g carbs (15.1g fibre, 24.6 sugar)
177.3g fat (45.4g saturated fat)
61.8g protein.
Why are these so wildly different? (The nutrition facts one is wrong)

Hi, I use a Samsung galaxy s8
I experience this issue everyday, the macronutrient and nutrition facts never match up.
This didn't fix it.

I have the same. I have a Pixel 2 phone.

I have the same issue and just did what you suggested but it hasn't fixed anything. Macro's is saying something completely different to nutrition facts, which of these is most accurate and why are they so different?

I have the same issue, but my issue also extends to calories. I get three different numbers depending where I look in the app (front page, log, and the log details).

I have the same issue and I have not been able to figure out why. I went back as far as I could in my tracking, and every day I've ever tracked is like this.

I have the same issue - they've been different since I started using the app in January (on a Samsung Galaxy S10).

I have the same problem.
Also the calculated % for proteins, fat and carbohydrates don't match the numbers (grams) of proteins, fat and carbohydrates in the macronutrients overview, nor in the nutrition facts.
The proposed procedure didn't solve it.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A50.
Thank you.

I am having the same problem...hard for tracking for diabetes if the carbs don't match. Please fix this, as it is not an issue of just uninstalling and reinstalling...it is something to do with fitbit's calculations.

I'm having the same issue. When I manually add the macronutrients from the nutritional facts screen, the nutritional facts screen ends up being the correct number and the macronutrients pie chart is displaying incorrect numbers and percentages.
Interesting how you said the nutritional facts screen on your end was incorrect.

I am able to replicate and resolve this problem on demand. In a nutshell, the Nutrition Facts page assumes all food logged is logged as 1 serving, it does not perform math based on our serving size input as it should.
In this image I have 1 full serving of everything, the food page and the nutrition facts pages agree with each other.
However in this next set of images I have changed my Almonds to a half serving. Now the Food page is correct but the nutrition facts page is incorrect and still shows the same thing as before.
When I change the serving of almonds back to a full serving the two pages agree again.

And here I have made everything 10x servings, Nutrition Facts still reflects 1 serving of each
And I can confirm it's not a matter of data needing to refresh, because if I add a new food to my log the nutrition facts page immediately updates to reflect one serving of the new food (and everything else stays at one serving too)
The app simply isn't performing portion size math on that page.

I don't think that is the only problem. I log most of my food in grams since I weigh items. I tested your theory as I started to log my food today and right away I have a discrepancy. I don't normally log items based on one serving since the size can always vary. Fitbit has a major problem with this and they need to address the issue.

My macronutrients counts have been showing 100% wrong (probably like 2x what they really are) in the app for about a week now, however in the online dashboard at fitbit.com they are correct. Something is wonky in the app the past week -- it also returned to default-logging 1 day behind the actual date.

This is a programming error in the app.
Example, enter oatmeal, one packet and review the Nutrition Facts. Change the quantity to 2 packets and the Nutrition Facts are unchanged.
Enter one packet, save the entry then add another packet as a new entry (do not increase the qty of the original entry) and the Nutrition Facts are correct. You now have two individual entries of one packet each.
I did the above as the only meal of the day and it proves to be a mathematical error in the programming of the app.
