Meditation Heart Rate change

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been using the meditation module of the Fitbit app since it's introduction and have been recording my starting and ending heart rate. I was curious what the range of starting and ending heart rates would be as well as the average of those data and how close it came to my resting heart rate.

When I review historical data for any reason it will sometimes change! How is this possible? Historical data should not be changing!

I tried emailing these questions and remarks to the app developer but was redirected here.

I would appreciate any info anyone has however I think this would be something the manufacturer should be able to answer but if they won't do so then I think it is rather useless to ask the public.

@Pythag_Comma Hi there. Thanks for the detailed information shared.

I moved your post to this board, because it's more related to the topic. I see where your disappointment is coming from.

It's odd what you're experiencing. Please try the following troubleshooting:

- Log out from the Fitbit app

- Clear the app cache

- Restart your phone

- Log back in

After this, continue monitoring its functionality and if possible take screenshots so you can attach them to your next reply.

Hope this helps.

Hi Silvia,

Thanks for getting back to me. I followed your steps before my meditation session this morning. There was 67mb of data in the cache. (Is that a lot or a little?) Then I compared results of my starting and ending heart rates of a few different days between "this week" view and a few random days. I still get changing data for random days when switching views. That is some change, some don't.
