My charge 3 shows when I receive a message, but how do I open it?

@Mfeller1 if i understand your enquiry i think i have found the solution - a post back in January gave suggestion to message setting and thank @MarreFitbit  for the information

 

"If you're on Android app, if  the preview message is off then it won't preview through Fitbit either, no matter what you set it to through the app. So, check it by going to Settings --> Device --> Applications --> Messages --> Notifications --> Must be on, pop-up display switched on, and Preview Message on".
