Mobile Tracking combining all steps on current day- can I delete?

My fitbit one bit the dust so I switched to mobile tracking via the app. However, no matter what day I log mobile steps, they always shows up on today. So, say I had 4,000 on Thursday and 5,000 on Friday. On Saturday, the app shows 0 steps on Thursday and Friday and 9,000 on Saturday. On Sunday, the app shows 0 steps on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and 9,000 on Sunday, etc. etc. I have turned off mobile tracking but am wondering if there is a way I can wipe all the steps logged via mobile? I've ordered a new tracker, and don't want these holdover mobile steps affecting my counts going forward.

@katie-45 I hope you are doing fine.

This is odd. I suggest you troubleshoot the app itself by logging out of it, restart your phone phone and log back in. You could also try clearing your app's cached data by going to settings > apps > Fitbit > clear cache data. Still the steps won't be removed from your account but taking into consideration that you are walking now and not recording these steps it should not affect your goal as you are still waiting on your new device.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! Either logging out or disconnecting mobile tracking cleared out all the errant steps. All days say 0 now, but that's better than before!
