I want to check out Fitbit app before buying one. I created account but the option to set up my phone as a device does not appear... It just lists the trackers. I want to be able to use both the Fitbit tracker and my phone! And if this won't work, how can I be sure the tracker will sync with phone....Motorola Droid turbo 2.

Hi there @Patis67, it's nice to see you have joined the Fitbit Community. The feature you are looking for is MobileTrack which let you use the Fitbit app without a Fitbit tracker by using your phone's sensors to track basic activity data including steps, distance, and calories burned. MobileTrack does not monitor floors, sleep, or active minutes.
However this feature is not supported by the Motorola Droid turbo 2. This is the reason you are not able to see the option from the list of trackers to set up. With this I can answer your other question, since your phone is listed as compatible in our list of supported devices. When a device is added here, it means it has been tested already and the mobile device is able to run the Fitbit app and work with the different features of our Fitbit trackers.
Hope this helps and see you later!
