MobileTrack not working at all

Hi,

I started using the FitBit app with phone as a tracker a couple of days ago to see how I like it before I commit to purchasing a device.

First day everything worked fine. Next day the step count didn't reset to zero but distance did. I restarted the phone, the app and so on, but nothing helped. So I left it be. The following morning it actually logged zero steps, but upon waking I had about 1000 steps for that day already. Again tried with all restarting options, including uninstalling the app. When I installed it again it reset itself to zero and started tracking again, but mid walk is just stopped by itself, so it logged around 3k. This morning it again didn't go back to zero.

Any ideas?

Other parts of the app work normally.

Other step tracker I have in the phone is working fine and I have enabled permissions to location and such for FitBit.

I have a Xiaomi phone.

Thanks.

@Butterflyka Hi there. Thanks for the detailed information shared.

I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. I'd like you to make sure that you're running Android OS 7.0 or higher and make sure that your Xiaomi phone isn't the MI 6 as this phone could not operate properly due to compatibility difficulties with the Fitbit tracker/watch.

Hope this helps.
