Does anyone have the new Google Moto G? Does it sync with your Fitbit?

I have a Moto G7 power and am trying to sync it with my charge 2. #fail!!!
Bluetooth on the phone recognises the charge. Have reinstalled the app. What next? Looks like.its going to work then nothing. Does sometimes come up with Pincode or key error message. Suggestions? Shouldn't have to fork out for a new fit bit! And no I don't want to sync through a different device.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Thanks for trying to uninstall the app to get it to work.
As it has been mentioned before, this might be going on because the G7 is not a supported device.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing. While you have already tried some of those steps, please try going through all of the in the order that they show up.

Having exactly the same problem - got a new phone as it wouldn't connect to my old phone (old phone having different version bluetooth) now this one not working. Not willing to buy another Fitbit as I already have had several (most of them had various problems).
