Moto G5 plus - does it work ok with Charge HR?

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any experience of above phone working or not working OK with Fitbit?

I know it's not specifically on compatible list (they all seem so old!).

Am in UK, in case that makes any difference.

Thanks

Hello @DawnieF, good to see you again in the Fitbit Community! Officially since the device is not listed as compatible I cannot guarantee it will work with your Charge HR.

Your phone has all the hardware requirements to be supported and the fact is not on the list, doesn't mean it won't work, is only we cannot predict the behavior of the phone in relation to the tracker or features from the app. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!

In my case I own a phone that is not listed as compatible and I haven't experienced troubles to sync or notifications or any other feature, but every case is different.

I tried to look for similar replies from other users to share with you and the best match I obtained is the following thread: Motorola Moto G5 (2017) can sync with Charge 2, shared kindly by @Dominique. Check it out as a reference it might give you some other opinions too.

See you soon and for more questions just let me know.

Thank you very much for your response. I don't have the phone but am
researching my next one and not wanting to find myself without Fitbit
compatibility. Love my Fitbit!

Am hopeful from your response that the Moto might be an OK choice, and my
boys' Samsung J3s are now working fine (touch wood) with their Alta's after
a recent app update so that's great too.

So far, no luck with HR and Moto G5 Plus (US version).
