Hi there @w2017, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! The Motorola Droid Maxx 2 has all the hardware requirements to be a supported device but is currently not on our list of supported devices as you mentioned. Meaning that we have not tested it for compatibility and added it to the list yet.

I suggest setting up and syncing via a device listed as supported or using a computer in the meantime. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for future updates!

To see the latest list of supported devices, please go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices. If your device isn't listed, you can check the link at a later date to see if device support has been added.

See you soon and take care!

I have the Droid Maxx 2 and I bought the Ionic it is breaking my heart to have to return it because the app and my phone are not compatible.  If you could tell me this will be fixed shortly I could keep the watch (I love everything else about it).  So please tell me this issue will be fixed soon.

Hi there @tracylg1, thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community. I couldn't help wondering if you are experiencing an issue in specific?

I can understand you since the Droid Maxx 2 is not compatible. At the moment I haven't seen new updates regarding this model of mobile phone; as moderators we do not possess specific details about the timeframe of when a device is going to be listed as compatible if it were the case.

When a device is not listed either is hasn't being tested the compatibility or hasn't been announced as not compatible. While we can’t test them all, we do take this seriously and continue working towards adding more to our official supported devices list.

See you around and thank you for your patience.
