Fitbit keeps saying I haven't moved my Fitbit to Google account yet. How do I do that?

In the latest version of the app, there is a banner. If you tap it it will start the migration process. Beware that will separate you from your friends who haven't done the migration yet (you will see them on the list but won't be able to see their steps or open their profiles. Also, you won't see their posts in the community feed until they migrate.

@t.parker Thanks for your help and explanation! True, everything will work as usual until all users have migrated.

@Yvette2 Nice to see you in the forums again. Here you will find all of the information you need: What should I know about moving Fitbit to my Google Account?. There you find instructions to proceed. Please make sure your Fitbit app is up to date.

Is there any way to see my fitbit data in the google fit account?  I dont mean todays data, I would like my historical data all in one place.  I had a garmin before my fitbit, and I am using google fit now.

I have moved recently and I can do nothing with the app. I can't communicate with my friends. I regret moving to google account☹️.

Same. Moved to Google and regret it badly. It has made me consider staying on Fitbit or moving to a different watch since this was one aspect of the ecosystem keeping me on Fitbit.

@AlexisAGmd Please excuse the delayed response. Yes you can start gathering all of your Fitbit information in Google Fit this way: How do I share my Fitbit data with Health Connect on my Android phone?. You can also sync your Google Fit data to Health Connect (click here). This way you can have all of your information in one app. Hope this helps!

@Baily16 @repatel Thanks for your feedabck about the migration. Every feature will work as expected until all users have migrated. I appreciate your patience.

And users have time until 2025 to migrate to Google? That makes it 2 yrs of social disconnect on Fitbit sadly..
