Multiple device sync/live data issues

I've been having problems syncing with two devices. Even when my blaze is across the house through multiple walls, it gets priority over the charge 2 on the wrist holding the phone doing the sync. Any idea if they will add a primary device feature to the Android app?

To add a bit more detail: if my phone gets even the slightest connection to my blaze I can't get live data in the app despite the charge 2 being inches from my phone. I can be across the house from where my blaze is charging, and the app still gives it priority over the charge that actually has live data to report. 

The only way I can get the app to use the charge 2 for live data is to shutdown the blaze entirely. Not a deal breaker, but it sure would be nice to simply tell the app which device to prefer. 

The fact that it chooses a device not actually returning a heart beat is a bit bizarre though.
