My Charge won't sync

I have had my Charge HR for just over a year but I have been unable to sync it to my LG 10 since 20th April. I have uninstalled the app, restarted my phone and turned Bluetooth off but nothing seems to work. Now its not even showing on the Bluetooth list so that I can pair it.

I am baffled, any suggestions?

Hi there @goodyear69, good to see you here in the Fitbit Community, welcome aboard! Thank you for letting me know the steps you have tried to address the syncing issues.

As a matter of review, I suggest to give it a try to the indications of this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? You may find some identical steps from what you have tried.

If the issue continues, I suggest to try this workaround: log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

Keep in mind the LG10 is not listed as compatible, so these issues are prone to happen. Due to the app is not optimized to work under the device in question. To learn more about this topic, refers to this article: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

See you later and hope this helps.

I am having problems syncing my LG G5. The FG G5 is a flagship phone for LG. Any solutions to the sync issue?

I have not been able to synch my HR with the FitBit app since April 21st.  I have a Samsung 6 which is on the compatibility list.  I have tried all of the suggestions in the help pages.  I also tried the work around suggested by RobertoFitbit in this thread and nothing has worked.  Any other suggestions?

Hi there @Jayhouse8084 and @Renegade614. Welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! My apologies for the late response.

@Jayhouse8084 I'm wondering how it goes? Is the issue still persisting  with your phone and tracker at the moment to sync? Have you tried the steps I mentioned before?

@Renegade614 you are correct, the phone you are using is compatible.

If the issue continue, make sure the Fitbit app is updated to the most recent version. New versions always contained stability improvements that might be of your help at the moment to sync. For more details refer to this post.

Setting your tracker as a replacement might be a way to address this issue, just follow the steps as if you were pairing your tracker as you did the first time. This post will give you a reference.

If a device isn’t listed it doesn’t mean it won’t work with a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch. We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit App, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models. A majority of Android phones running version 4.4 or higher will work with our products, however we cannot guarantee optimal performance on devices for which we have not tested and confirmed compatibility.

See you later and don't forget to keep me posted.

Thank you for your response!

I removed the app and turned off everything as instructed. I later reinstalled the app and turned everything back on and it appears to be working fine. I also found out the Fitbit software has not caught up with pace of new  technology. I have a LG G5 and there is no software support for this high end phone or version of android. Hopefully they are working on it.
