My Fitbit app for Android deletes my steps

After 2 hours of Zumba I has 20,000 steps on the app this morning. Now I only have 7,776 steps... Are you kidding me??? I need my steps back, to pay less on my health insurance...

Welcome to the Forums @Merci4ever

Thanks for bringing this up. It sounds very concerning.

I'd like to ask a few questions:

  • Is your Fitbit on the correct timezone?
  • Do you have different Fitbits?
  • Did you connect through a different mobile device to sync?

Look forward to your reply so that I can find the best way to move forward.

Hello Lanuzafitbit. I am using the Android app, don't have an actual
fitbit, I am trying the app before making the final decision of investing
on a Fitbit device... I use my cellphone with a waist band to track my
steps during Zumba. It is on the right timezone because it's the same time
zone of my cellphone, and I only sync it with my phone. I am attaching two
photos of this morning, this time it duplicates the steps...
Thank you in advance for your help,
Merci

Hello @Merci4ever

Thanks for the clarification. It seems like the pictures didn't come through, could you post them again?

As for the duplicate calories now, did you manually log an activity to your Dashboard or not at all?

Look forward to your reply.

Hello... I am uploading new photos...
There's no duplicate calories... Fitbit app is deleting my steps. I don't
manually log an activity.
Best regards
