@Kitypat Hi and Welcome - may I point you to my post in the following link that will go through how to setup the messages and alerts

as a point of interest Fitbit has set the floors to count on an elevation of 10ft - this is apparently the mean average between most Private and commercial floor levels (also by the looks of most or the data on Fitbit it uses a decimal system so is easier to keep data across the board - (I know ideally I would like to be able to choose between 8ft (UK Residence) - 10ft and 12ft (Commercial)floor levels this means at home your floors maybe erratic (you may look strange getting to the top of the stairs and then jumping in the air with your arm up but it can gain that extra bit to log a floor),

if you are climbing more than 10ft in one go then you may have to restart your tracker

you may need restart 2 or 3 times in a row - but try it once first just in case

Restart Fitbit

Hope this helps for now

Kind Regards
